So, your daughter is getting married and as the father of the bride, your speech comes first.  You might have done this before or you might be totally unprepared because you have no idea what to say.  Well, you’re in luck because here are plenty of ideas for your father of the bride speech.

As the father of the bride, it’s your responsible to thank everyone who made the wedding perfect. Don’t forget to thank the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom. Refer to the maid of honor and bridesmaids, how beautiful they are and how much you appreciate their efforts. Thank the clergy, priest, or minister. Thank everyone who has help with the wedding.Use a humorous remark about those who helped with the financing of the wedding. Mention the flowers, the hall and anything else you can think of for making the wedding beautiful.

You might want to mention where the buffet is as well as the drinks.  Also mention if there’s a cash bar or not.  Mention anything that will be helpful to the guests so they can enjoy the wedding festivities without worries.
